Understanding the Principles of Individual Taxation: Vehicle Expenses

This course – the eighth in our “Understanding the Principles of Individual Taxation” series – will go over the treatment of business vehicle expenses, primarily outlined in IRS Publication 535. This course will explain the rules regarding deducting vehicle expenses and a clarification between business and personal use. Also in the discussion are topics like depreciation limitations and certain special rules regarding the adoption of expense methods.
