Course Description

This package is meant as an add-on for existing students, who have already purchased the 1 User Unlimited IRS Credits and Courses, and need to add the 5 credit hours of CA state specific coursework to be able to renew with CTEC. Note: This is only for the 5 credits of CA state training; you will need at least 15 hours of federal training in addition to these 5 CA state credits for your annual CTEC renewal.

This CTEC certified tax preparer course bundle includes 5 credits of California specific material covering the form 540 in depth; determining residency and filing status, completing form 540, conforming to federal tax law, electronic filing, payments, and CTEC registration.

Federal Direct Tax Services has been approved by the California Tax Education Council to offer both Continuing Education and Qualifying Education courses. These related courses count towards returning California tax preparer's annual "continuing education" requirements and new tax preparer initial "qualifying education" requirements imposed by the State of California for CTEC Registered Tax Preparers.
