The tax law updates category covers annual changes to the tax code and how it will affect the preparation of your clients' returns. The IRS changes and updates the tax code every year and the past few years have made this category a popular one! These changes can come in the form of inflationary changes, new credits and deductions as well as expiring ones, and even sometimes broad sweeping forms changes. When you take you continuing education courses you will receive a certificate indicating your completion of the topic, and we will automatically report your credits to the IRS. A PTIN (Preparers Tax Identification Number) is required for IRS reporting & tracking.
